Since the foundation in 2010, we have been facing the exciting challenges of our customers as a young company with ingenuity and creative ideas. Due to our innovative strength, we receive enquiries and develop products for various industries that want to position themselves technologically for the future.

Our History
As part of the reorientation and reorganisation, the company concentrated on its core competencies with today's four product areas. Since then, the focus has not only been on product developments in the field of building technology, but also on product developments for the areas of systems, machines, transport and valuables containers. Existing merchandise has been discontinued, and the development and manufacture of high-quality and unique products and solutions is the top priority.
The focus on product developments shows first results and the market launch of the vehicle locking system VetraLock and the patented bolt switching contact RK-Lever® takes place.
BSS starts a partnership with Lürssen, the market leader for superyacht manufacturing. As part of this partnership, the very innovative HD (Heavy-Duty)-Lock for exterior doors and hatches is developed.
This year sees the market launch of no less than three new products. With the RK-Smart II bolt switch contact, BSS is introducing another unique bolt switch contact for lock monitoring. This contact is characterised by a very simple, alternative installation method. Furthermore, a security seal for prisons and an electromechanical locking device for espagnolette locks are introduced to the market.
Due to unique USPs, our innovative HD (Heavy-Duty) Lock is nominated for the Boat Builder Award 2017 at the leading superyacht trade fair Metstrade in Amsterdam.
After the successful introduction of the HD-Lock ship in 2015, a variant of it was developed that can be used in an explosion-proof area.
BSS acquires a plot of land in Engen in order to be able to start planning a modern new building.
BSS obtains the European patent for the security radio window handle.
The planning of the new building is completed and the implementation of a modern and future-oriented organisation begins.
Staying true to our commitment to develop unique products, we are finalising the product development of our unique access control unit HISAC®, with a focus on superyacht requirements.
The KNX market, which has been growing strongly for many years, is seen as a suitable environment for BSS products. The first step will be the integration of the HELIH® security radio window handle into the KNX environment.

Production and development
"MADE IN BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG" - BSS products are manufactured exclusively in Germany and are subject to recurring testing and measuring techniques throughout the entire manufacturing process. For manufacturing, we only use materials that meet our high quality standards.
BSS considers the further development of existing products to be essential in order to survive in the security market and to achieve long-term success. Part of our resources is therefore devoted to the further development of existing products. We take on board feedback from partners and customers and implement findings in further developments so that we always meet our customers' requirements.

We see the high quality and functional reliability of our products as prerequisites for long-term business success. In order to meet these demands, all products manufactured by us are subject to various quality controls.
The quality management of BSS is confirmed by the DIN EN ISO 9001 certification. Accordingly, existing quality management standards are met during our business and manufacturing activities. Regular inspections by VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH ensure the sustainability of the fulfilment of required quality standards.
Most of the products manufactured by BSS have been approved by VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH. This certifies safety and confidence in our products.
